5 foods that make Belly



There are some foods that can cause an increase in fat in the body, especially in the abdominal area. Fat in the stomach can lead to some serious problems such as diabetes, heart disease, and even Alzheimer's. Here are five foods that make a big belly.


1. Potato chips

In addition to containing a lot of saturated fat, eating too many potato chips can cause belly fat.


2. Diet soda

Recent studies have found a relationship between the consumption of diet soda and a larger waist circumference. What's more, diet soda drinkers have a higher abdominal flab than those who don't drink soda. This study has been published in the journal Obesity.

3. Pizza

The researchers found that saturated fat is most likely to be kept in the stomach. So, cut down on eating high fatty foods such as pizza or pasta.

4. French fries

Studies conducted for 20 years by Harvard University found that people who regularly eat fries experience gaining weight over 2 kg every four years; during the study.

5. Fruit juice

The sweetness that you feel on bottled juice is largely derived from fructose, a type of sugar that is associated with the development of abdominal fat. So make sure you choose fresh fruit juice and not in packaging.
